Marion Katz, RN, CPNP has been a volunteer at Fresh Start Surgery Weekends since February 2002. A mainstay in the Pre-Op for Fresh Start, she helps prepare patients and their families for surgery. She is a registered nurse as well as a certified pediatric nurse practitioner and provides pediatric primary care at Graybill Medical Group in Escondido. Prior to her current position, she worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner at University Hospital and Medical Center, Stony Brook, NY, and as a registered school nurse in the New York area. In 2003, Marion was a Fresh Start Medical Volunteer of the Year.
