Volunteer Dental Team
Terrie Yoshikane, DDS, MS
Volunteer Orthodontist
Yoshikane Orthodontics

Dr. Yoshikane has been an invaluable asset to the Fresh Start Dental Program since she began volunteering with Fresh Start in 2004. Dr. Yoshikane donates the use of her office facilities to Fresh Start over 6 times each year for our Orthondontic Dental Clinics and also has referred multiple volunteer dentists, dental assistants, and hygienists to the Fresh Start program. Dr. Yoshikane has volunteered over 180 hours at more than 46 Orthodontic Dental Clinics and during this time has provided more than 600 patients with appointments and procedures valued at over $347,900.

Dr. Yoshikane has practiced orthodontics in the North County San Diego area for over 20 years. Dr. Yoshikane earned her DDS from Loyola University Chicago School of Dentistry where she was Valedictorian and received her MS in oral biology from UCLA Dental School Department of Orthodontics.

Al Fallah, DDS, FICCMO
Volunteer Dentist
San Diego Cosmetic Dentist

Dr. Fallah has been a volunteer dentist with Fresh Start since 2008 and graciously donates the use of his dental office space in Carlsbad for Fresh Start's Restorative Dental Clinics. Dr. Fallah has participated in over 19 Dental Clinics and has referred many dental volunteers into the Fresh Start program. Dr. Fallah was an invaluable asset in the recent treatment of the Villa twins, Estefania and Ramses, who were born with amelogenesis imperfecta, which prevents the development of tooth enamel - Dr. Fallah's talent truly transformed the Estefania and Ramses' smiles.

When not volunteering for Fresh Start, Dr. Fallah is a cosmetic dentist whose practice serves North County San Diego, Carlsbad, San Diego, and the surrounding areas. Dr. Fallah graduated from UCLA Dental School where he scored in the top 6 percent of the nation on his National Board Examinations.

Grant McGann, DDS
Volunteer Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Oral and Reconstructive Specialty Center

Dr. Grant McGann has been a volunteer with Fresh Start Surgical Gifts since 2009 - although he may be a more recent addition to the Fresh Start team, Dr. McGann has already proved himself as dedicated and passionate about the Fresh Start mission.

Dr. McGann received his undergraduate degree in Health Promotion Disease Prevention from the University of Southern California and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He graduated with honors from both dental and undergraduate schools and has received many awards for his work. Dr. McGann completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
