MCGANN FACIAL DESIGN<\/em><\/a>
\nAs a board certified oral surgeon, Dr. McGann\u2019s career has been dedicated to performing, advancing,and teaching oral and maxillofacial surgery. This expertise is the foundation of McGann Facial Design(MFD), an exclusive San Diego based private oral surgery practice specializing in treating patients around the globe who are dissatisfied with their facial features and wish to change the way they FACE the world.<\/p>\nA native Californian, Dr. McGann was born and raised in Laguna Beach, California. He received his undergraduate degree in Health Promotion Disease Prevention from the University of Southern California in 2001 and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2004. He graduated with honors from both dental and undergraduate schools, and has received numerous awards for his academic and clinical work. In 2008, after graduation, he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the prestigious Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n
Giving back is important to Dr. McGann, as evidenced by his frequent surgical missions to Tanzania, The Philippines, Belgium, and Taiwan to bring much needed help to the underserved. In honor of his dedication, he was awarded the 2008 American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Resident Leadership and Community Service Award.<\/p>\n
Dr. McGann\u2019s passions include spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their beautiful children, Lily, Dean and Knox.
