She is pursuing her PhD at the University of Arizona in Health Care Disparities.<\/p>\n<p>Katie joined the Fresh Start team in 2015 after bearing witness to the transformational effects through reconstructive surgery on kids on Fresh Start patients and their families due to the incredible care of our practitioners.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to volunteering at Fresh Start, Katie volunteers as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at San Eugenio Clinic in La Morita, Tijuana.
