Katie Sweeny, DNP, PNP-C

Clinical Associate Professor, Pediatrics, University of San Diego School of Nursing
After receiving her Bachelors from Michigan State University, Katie received her Masters and Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Pittsburgh. She is pursuing her PhD at the University of Arizona in Health Care Disparities.

Katie joined the Fresh Start team in 2015 after bearing witness to the transformational effects through reconstructive surgery on kids on Fresh Start patients and their families due to the incredible care of our practitioners.
