Volunteer shifts usually last 4-5 hours and include food and great company. Anesthesiologist
Volunteer Anesthesiologists must be licensed and credentialed to practice in California, must be Board Certified or eligible, must possess and provide proof of current California licensure, DEA, and proof of malpractice insurance, must possess and provide proof of valid BCLS and ACLS certifications, and must be a currently practicing anesthesiologist at a JCAHO accredited facility with experience in treating children and young adults. Interpreter

Laser Treatment Practitioner
We use a variety of lasers to treat port-wine stains and other vascular lesions, scarring, unwanted post-surgical hair growth, tattoo removal and acne. Volunteer registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, MDs and DOs with current California licensure and training and experience operating lasers are encouraged to apply. Laser Treatment Prep Support
Laser Treatment Prep volunteers help prepare patients for laser treatment appointments by shaving treatment areas (usually around the ear) and applying a numbing cream. Training will be provided and no experience necessary. CLICK HERE TO VOLUNTEER

Overnight Caregiver
Overnight Caregiver volunteers provide one-on-one care and instruction of patients during the evening after their surgery. Volunteer Speech and Language Pathologists help patients with oral/maxillo-facial deformities communicate more effectively. Sterile Processing Department Volunteers facilitate the success of the day by quickly and efficiently turning over rooms between surgeries.
