Audrey

Audrey, age 11, was born with microtia (deformed or missing ear) in Oaxaca, Mexico. She became a Fresh Start patient in 2016 and has received 2 surgeries. Fresh Start Volunteer Plastic Surgeon Dr. Michael Brucker performed a microtia reconstruction with a contralateral rib graft.

Repair of a microtia is a multi-stage process and Audrey will be a Fresh Start patient until the best possible outcome has been achieved.
