Dr. Tarasiewicz is a practicing pediatric neurosurgeon in San Antonio, TX. She earned her medical degree from Université de Sherbrooke in Québec, Canada, in 1999. Dr. Tarasiewicz completed her residency in neurosurgery at Université Laval in Québec City and a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at Children’s Memorial Hospital, affiliated with Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She is board certified by both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Pediatric Neurological Surgery. Dr. Tarasiewicz specializes in the management of spinal dysraphism, congenital malformations of the central nervous system, pediatric neuro-oncology, spasticity, hydrocephalus and traumatic brain injury.
