Adele was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood eye cancer and had her eye removed at a very young age. Growing up, she faced not only medical challenges but also bullying from her peers. Thanks to Fresh Start’s volunteer medical team, Adele received a prosthetic eye that restored her confidence and helped her embrace life with joy and strength.

The 10th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic on June 8 and 9 in Chicago was unforgettable and an emotional farewell as Jermaine Dye closed his final year as host. We thank Jermaine for 10 incredible years of dedication, and honorary Chairman Kevin Miller for joining us in celebrating this milestone. Thank you to Chronicle Media for the wonderful feature.

The 33rd Annual Butterfly Ball Halloween Bash was a night of magic, costumes, and support for a wonderful cause! Guests gathered in full Halloween spirit to support Fresh Start Surgical Gifts.

The Fresh Start Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, held on August 26, at Stone Brewery, was a celebration of the dedicated medical professionals who generously contribute their time to transform the lives of children through Fresh Start Surgical Gifts.
